The first half of this four-hour outing is entirely on foot, working through Barcelona's Old Town past the Roman walls and the Roman Forum at Plaça de Sant Jaume, into the Gothic Quarter, past the Cathedral and Plaça del Rei, and down toward Las Ramblas. From there the tour changes pace completely: you board a boat at the port for a harbor cruise past the marina and working docks, with a guided stop at Moll de Llevant before heading back.
A live guide stays with you for both halves, walking and water, capped at 15 travelers per departure, so questions get answered in real time instead of through a recorded audio track.
